-ella,

we're not in wonderland anymore alice

I haven't posted in a long time, so I'll make two posts today :)
Alice in Wonderland.
One of my favourite children stories, I'm not talking about the Disney movie, although sufficient enough.. I'm referring to the childrens book by Lewis Carroll.
My next painting is about this story, I'm excited to work on it.
Here are a few of my inspirations;

-ella,

squares of all shapes

Referencing Paul Klee, whom I love.
Essentially the viewer is to have their own interpretation of the piece. Whether it be from the colours used, the progression from large to small squares or small to large squares.
I'm trying to learn, understand and figure out colours/the colour theory while also trying to make sense of the concept which in this 'abstract' case, is about nature vs. man.

ps; Series to come.
